The Sephora Beauty Insider savings event dates are here! Every spring and fall, Beauty Insider members get pretty excited as this is one of the few times a year we can save money & get the best deals at a steep discount.
The savings events are also affectionately known as the Sephora VIB sale, though discounts are available for all Beauty Insiders. Sephora sales are few & far between, giving exclusive deals to beauty lovers on practically everything. It’s like our very own beauty bonanza for Beauty Insider members!
Beauty Insider members save big during Sephora’s Savings Event!
To access the beauty sale, shoppers must be beauty insider members & use the promo code at checkout. Joining the Beauty Insiders program is totally free & required if you want to take advantage of the savings event. As we’ve come to expect in years past, those with Rouge status not only get 20% off all purchases during the sale, but they also get to use the promo codes during the entirety of the sale period.

How does the Sephora sale works?
Promo codes for the Sephora VIB sale, aka the Sephora Beauty Insider sale, have not yet been released. In the meantime, continue to keep an eye on your inbox, take advantage of free birthday gifts, and new deals. We’ll update this page as soon as more information on Sephora sales becomes available.
The products featured below are from my personal Sephora sales shopping list. I’m loyal to my favorite beauty brands (Pat McGrath, Charlotte Tilbury), but I also love to experiment with new skin care and hair care too. Pro tip: Sephora launches new products during the last day of the Sephora sales, so keep an eye out for those hidden gems! Also keep an eye out for beauty awards badges, like the Allure Best of Beauty winners, to help make finding new products to try during Sephora runs easier.
Sephora Beauty Insider Sale Recommendations
Refresh your makeup bag with these tried & true favorites, alongside some of the newest trends, formulations, and textures to make getting ready fun again.
Kosas Tinted Face Oil Foundation
$49: The hype around this foundation is real and I didn't fully understand exactly how deserved the hype was until I was finally able to swatch the formula at Sephora.
Once I squeezed a few drops out onto my hand, I was impressed by how much coverage the tint provided. Even more surprising was how quickly the oil sank into my skin. After application, the foundation provides a beautiful, dewy glow and can also be easily set with powder for a longer-lasting finish.
Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit
$39: Savvy shoppers anxiously await the arrival of the Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit every year, and this year's offering doesn't disappoint. A $221 value for only $39, 2021's kit features two full-size sunscreens, as well as 11 additional sun-related products. Each kit purchase also includes a $25 donation to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center with a minimum donation of $700,000.
This kit doesn't stay in stock for long, so don't be surprised if the kit sells out by the time the sale begins.
The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
$5.90 - $10.60: The only thing more exciting than affordable skincare is affordable skincare at a discount. The Ordinary's 10% Niacinamide serum is an effective, targeted treatment for balancing oily skin and minimizing the appearance of pores.
I use this serum a few times a week, especially on days when I have Zoom meetings with clients for smooth, nearly poreless skin (through my low-resolution webcam).
It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream
$38: The shade range isn’t all-encompassing (I have to mix Fair & Light for my complexion), but if you can find your shade, the formula is nearly perfect. High coverage, high moisture, high SPF. If you find it to be too dewy for your skin type, I recommend wearing it alone without moisturizer.
Pat McGrath Mothership I Eyeshadow Palette
$125: Of the four Mothership palettes that I own, this is still the one I reach for most. The gradient of beautiful cool tones punctuated by the vibrant blues and ethereal glitters make it the most versatile of the Mothership collection.
Surratt Lash Curler
$30: I resent how expensive this lash curler is, but damn if it doesn’t put every other curler I’ve ever used to shame. It doesn't hurt that every makeup artist I know recommends this curler above all others.
Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint
$29.50: Leave it to Fenty Beauty to drop a new foundation formula right before the Beauty Insider Sale. Although I haven't tried it yet (my bottle is on its way to me), Eaze Drop promises light-to-medium coverage, blurring, and smoothing.
Early reviews are promising and I suspect that Fenty Beauty has yet another complexion hit on their hands.
Lancome Mini Juicy Tubes Original Lip Gloss Set
$25: The Juicy Tubes smell & stickiness is so early 2000s nostalgic to me that I couldn't resist picking this set up. A full-size tube is $20, so this set of assorted colors and finishes is a fantastic deal. Nothing says summer quite like a fruity, highly-reflective lip gloss and Juicy Tubes deliver exactly that.
Tower 28 BeachPlease Lip + Cheek Cream Blush
$20: Cream blushes are the cheek product of the year and those of us who have long been devoted to the category (ahem) aren't surprised. Like so many of my favorite formulas, Tower28's BeachPlease cream blush is easily blendable with medium pigmentation and leaves a dewy sheen on my cheek.
If you love the idea of being glowy + fresh this summer, this is the formula for you.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Liquid Contour Wand
$38: Much like Charlotte Tilbury's iconic Filmstar Bronze & Glow, the Hollywood Liquid Contour Wand manages to perfectly exist in the world between bronzer and contour. The sponge applicator tip & twisting lock make it easy to dispense a small amount of product into the sponge and lightly stamp it onto the skin. Even though the formula is nicely pigmented, it also blends out beautifully and adds an ideal amount of warmth and definition.
Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil
$28: When my hair stylist tells me to use a product, I dutifully obey. That was the case with the Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil and I've been grateful every time I apply a couple of drops of this oil, in combination with the Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother Repairative Styling Cream, to the ends of my hair. Not only does this oil smell fantastic, but it also doesn't weigh my hair down and has the added benefit of repairing bonds broken by chemical processing (aka my endless need to be unnaturally red).
Rouge members also get access to the best deals on beauty products from top brands, hair care, holiday gift sets, Urban Decay, Milk Makeup, Fenty Beauty, skin care for sensitive skin, hyaluronic acid, and more because they get exclusive access to the sale (and inventory) first. We’re talkin top notch stuff!
The retail links on this website are from an affiliate partnerships Rascal Honey has with Sephora, and all items were independently selected to be featured. Sephora literally doesn’t know we wrote this post.
*Additional discounts may be available for those with the Sephora Credit Card, including double points. The discount is not eligible on previous purchases, gift wrapping, in store services, and may be used on only one Dyson item.
This is super helpful! Just one thing- the Pat McGrath palette isn’t out by the time the event is over. 😉
Hi Julie, Thank you so much for reaching out! I was referring to Mothership IV, which is the Decadence palette, when I wrote this post for the last sale. I just checked and it apppears that it’s no longer available on Sephora’s site, sadly. Although it was always limited edition, I hadn’t heard that it was out of stock. The new palette, Mothership V, is currently up on Sephora’s website http://bit.ly/2BL9pYq, but sadly it’s not yet available. Perhaps eagle-eyed shoppers will get to take advantage towards the end of the sale if we’re really lucky.
Mothership V drops September 7 per @patmcgrathreal so there’s no way to get it during this sale!
You’re a host of beauty information! You make me want to envelop myself with all the things you have suggested. Spring is here! Let the fun begin! I’m headed to Sephora…
