And Comfort Is A Plus Size Minimalist’s Dream

Slowly, surely, and blessedly, our clothing options as plus size women are growing by the day. For everyone who ever resented floral prints, synthetic fabrics, bold colors, and one frill too many, And Comfort launched last month to make your minimalist dreams come true.

Beyond the clean lines and simplified silhouettes, And Comfort’s focus on quality starts with custom-milled organic premium and pima cotton, leaving suffocating polyester in the past. The initial collection features four styles in a limited neutral color palette, ranging in price from $45 to $140, and all pieces are available in sizes 10 – 28.

A post from Glamour offers insight into the launch, including information on the cofounders and their hopes to expand into sizes beyond 28. Reading about the brand’s community-focused mindset, commitment to premium fabrics, and awareness of the need to serve customers above size 28, I get the impression that And Comfort was created not only to take advantage of the clear business opportunity but to truly serve the plus size customer.

I appreciate how the simple, understated designs could easily blend into any wardrobe alongside your favorite basics for work or the weekend. Plus, any of these items would be perfect to pack for any destination, which I appreciate. I’m most excited by The Apron Dress for its versatility and The Cloud Tee because I’m still searching for my OTT (one true tee).

If you’ve had a chance to try any of And Comfort’s pieces or you have a favorite from the collection, please let me know about it in the comments below!

I have a t-shirt and that navy wrap skirt from And Comfort and the quality is stellar. The skirt has been one of the most worn pieces this summer. Crisp cotton, it doesn't cling, it's a faux wrap so no peek-a-boo, deep pockets, and a wide waistband that doesn't dig or fold over. So cute with a simple tee and sandals or sneakers. The fabric of the Cloud Tee is pretty perfect - it can dress up or down nicely, drapes beautifully, and has one of those perfect lengths of sleeve. The apron dress is also amazing but sadly I'm a bit too small for it. Big fan of this brand!
