Gabi Gregg, aka influencer and designer GabiFresh, just dropped her Spring 2019 collection with perpetual “every body” marketing offender Swimsuits For All. The 11-piece collection is retro-themed, pulling inspiration from 50s and 60s glamour. The campaign, featuring Gregg, Brie Kish, Hadassah McGrew, and Zach Miko, feels like a fever dream fresh off the Down With Love movie set.
Most items are available in numerical sizes 12-24, although six styles are available in size 10 and four styles are available in size 26, and cup sizes D/DD through G/H. Prices range from $78 for the Fame Maxi Dress to $120 for the Princess Halter High Waist Bikini, although all pieces seem to be discounted at the time of publication.
Gabi’s swimsuit collections continue to push the boundaries of plus size swimsuit design, often leading to copycat designs from other retailers, it bears repeating that Swimsuits For All gets a lot of mileage out of the implied inclusivity in their brand name. To some extent, the brand is truly inclusive with swimsuits available in sizes 4 through 40, however, both SFA collaborations with plus size influencers Gregg & model Ashley Graham are only fully available through size 24. Sizes 28 & up are relegated to a separate section of the site populated by designs that look like they came from the dusty corners of sad department stores. Gabi’s own brand, Premme, designed in collaboration with influencer Nicolette Mason, is available in sizes 12-30.
