Soncy Plus Size

Soncy, not to be confused with Sonsi, is an exciting new affordable plus size brand that offers sizes 10-30 with everything under $100.

In my humble opinion, there can never be enough plus size fashion brands so whenever a new line launches, it’s an exciting day. I first learned about Soncy on my friend Allison’s Instagram via a sponsored post and I was delighted to see a range of diverse models being featured in their e-commerce images. I’m not sure who is behind this line, but it’s clear that they’ve been listening to what the community wants and is here to give it to us.

There’s a wide range of options for the office, casual days, or nights out, but most options are very curve-conscious. There isn’t another brand out there quite like it, but if I had to describe the styles by comparing them to other brands, I’d say it’s somewhere between Premme and Fashion Nova. Soncy also offers a subscription program that entitles members to 30% off their purchases, free shipping, and free returns for $39 per year. It’s unclear how often they will be releasing new styles, but it could be worth it if you are purchasing 3 or more styles at once.

Thus far, I’m excited by who Soncy has chosen to feature on their Instagram, like Corissa from Fat Girl Flow. Whenever a brand acknowledges women above a size 20 with a non-hourglass body type, it’s encouraging. In Allison’s blog post, she mentions that her experience with the fit has been true to size, which is another great sign.

I’ve picked out a few of my favorite styles to share in the gallery below, and you can shop the full Soncy collection here. See something you love? Tell me about it in the comments below!
